LOVED painting this! I felt the need to paint something Star Wars-y, and this is where I arrived (though I have a few more things in progress right now too )
Used reference both for the body and separately for the face.
A little bit of a different way of working for me this, a bit contrived, but it got the end results I was looking for.
Was trying to get the foremost rocks to pop out a little more than they are doing, but, eh, it's something I'll return to at some point, I'm sure.

Not entirely sure how long this took me, on and off (mostly off) over about a week, all done in PS CS 5 with wacom
