This water colossus bears the head of an ancient and gargantuan crocodile, it's tentacles used to lash ships which wander too close, as well as the army of heroes which try to defeat it every so often. It's gigantic eel-like bulk is thick skinned and riddled with barnacles, giving it a strong natural defence. Within it's craggy, flooded oceanic cave, it fills the space, looming over it's prey, it's roars choking the air from their lungs. In open water it is just as much a ferocious beast, propelling itself at substantial speed.
I really wanted to create somewhat of a leviathan, a monstrous amalgamation of natures sea predators. Nature's strongest bight and most nimble and cunning hunter crowning a powerful body of another voracious hunter; crocodile, octopus and eel.
Overall I think this took me about 8 hours on and off over the course of 3 days. I had a fairly strong idea of what I wanted it to look like, and this has come out very well in regards to that!
I'll have some step by step WIPs up on my blog soon if you're interested!
