OK, so this is a fan piece of Deadpool; the merc with the mouth. The comic version. Allways been a huge fan of deadpool, but this is my first time trying to draw him, I felt now I could finally do one of my favourite chars justice.
Really enjoyed doing this, I NEED to do more pictures thatstart of traditionally, they come out so much better! I'm pretty pleased with how this came out, sure it could be more polished, but I didn't want to overdo it, and I was eager to show it off! This was a blue sketch that was then hand inked and coloured on PS. The sketch and inking took about 2 hours, the photoshopping took about 7-8ish hours on top of that I think.
Yeah, it looked amazing on your phone, lol. There is a fair bit that needs to be polished and tweaked, that may happen, or I may just do a revised version, we'll see. The colouring on this is probably the best I've done to date. Ta very much.
I love me some Deadpool. The one thing that really stands out to me as being "off" is his arms, the upper arms especially just aren't giving the impression of being away from the body, while the lower arms do.
What I love is you got his belt and symbol spot on (although a wee bit bright for the setting) and you didn't give him that stupid hood. Also, nice spray effect from the water hitting him.
Have you seen Wolverine vs. Hulk yet? My guy was watching it and I started paying attention when Deadpool showed up (to see how badly they screwed his voice/attitude up this time) and they actually did a fair job with him.
Omega Red: The doctor's last words were for us to kill Wolverine!
Deadpool: Really? I thought his last words would have been more like "AUGH SABERTOOTH!"

Thanks very much. Yeah I'm a little unimpressed with myself about the shoulder areas. They just didn't come out how I felt they should, they don't look right, especially his right, it comes round too much for the body placement. I thought the belt was a little bright, but I thought it worked well as a strong focal point as well. I hate the hood, I know it's very 'him' but I allways thought it looked like a bobble hat lol. I like the rain aswell, it's the first time I've tried rain like this, and I think it worked nicely. I shall check out Wolvy Vs Hulk.
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Thanks very much for the fave
Still like it, and I'm not gonna point out all the things that aren't so good about it as I'm pretty sure you already know it.
If nothing else, I have to say I think the colouring is superb though

So what if I still dare, when they don't seem to care?
